Description

We were hired by the general contractor to do the anchoring installation and pull and shear testing for the BofA signage studs. We needed to install over 400 dewalt screw anchors with 200 metal studs 16” on center along the top of the parapet wall. We had to do 50 pull tests and 50 shear tests to 500 pounds to verify that the brick and screw anchors would meet the loads needed. The testing was done in accordance with the NYC Department of Buildings bulletin 2016-005.
