The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey was renovating Building 111 at JFK.  The building was originally built in the 1950’s and the concrete is ashcrete and in very poor condition.  The contractor originally wanted to use Hilti drop-in anchors and the Port Authority required the sprinkler contractor to do pull testing.  The drop-in anchors failed the pull testing due to the weakness of the concrete.  Atlas Anchor recommended a Dewalt AC100 Epoxy System.  The Dewalt AC100 Epoxy System tested to 1200 lbs.
